On Monday 18th December, he was at Lockerbie's sorting office, before visiting Dumfries the following day.
Commenting Oliver Mundell MSP said: "It was great to pay a visit to the Lockerbie sorting office to may my own thanks to our hard working staff, who do a great job all year round, but particularly at this time of year.
"I was very impressed at all the work that was going on ahead of the busy festive period, particularly with the increase in online orders.
"As you go about your own festive activities, spare a thought for our hardworking postmen and women."
Mr Mundell also visited Dumfries sorting office on Tuesday 19th December, on what was their busiest day of the year as staff continued to work to ensure presents arrived ahead of the big day.
