Over the past five years, I have worked as hard as I can for our area both at Holyrood and locally, working with constituents and local organisations across the region.
I regularly make space in my weekly diary for visits to businesses, schools, organisations, farms and charities based throughout my constituency. This ensures I am constantly aware of any concerns facing those living and working in the area to ensure I can fully represent all constituents to the best of my ability in Parliament. If you own or are aware of anywhere which might benefit from a visit please do not hesitate to contact me.
Alongside visits I have held regular weekly surgeries across the constituency covering Annan, Moffat, Thornhill, Langholm, Dumfries, Gretna, Sanquhar, Kirkconnel and Lockerbie. These surgeries have been held in order to give constituents the option to freely come along if they have any questions or issues they would like to discuss with no prior appointment necessary. For more information of when I am holding my next surgery near you please refer to my 'Surgeries and Events' page above.
Throughout summer I also hold a 'Summer Surgery Tour' alongside David Mundell MP which will see me visit as many towns as possible. This is a chance for me to meet with constituents from some of the smaller villages of Dumfriesshire who otherwise may not have had a chance to raise their views with me before.
*Please note at the moment almost all of my activities are virtual.
